Greetings!

What a wonderful weekend! I spoke with thousands who have been using my Run/Walk/Run training programs, provided by RunDisney. Many have eliminated injuries, improved finish times, set personal records or qualified for Boston. It is so rewarding to hear how the use of the right strategy of running and walking has restored enjoyment, allowed beginners to become regular runners, and opened the possibility of doing a marathon to those from 19 to 90, while never being "out of commission" for family and career activities. I am inspired by each person who changes their life for the better by pursuing and achieving an endurance goal.

New this year, provided by RunDisney, was a Galloway gathering place with coffee and porto-johns in the staging area. A great cross section of folks from various programs in mainland US and Puerto Rico came together and shared stories, and grouped according to pace. An motivation boost was enjoyed by all.

This was my 156th marathon and my 18th Disney marathon -out of 18. I've never had a perfect streak in any other race. Disney eliminates a lot of the stress with transportation from hotels to start and from the finish, activities for non-running family members/friends, entertainment, crowd support and medals that are spectacular.

Disney rewarded all marathoners with a free ticket to a theme park. "Marathon Monday" was a huge success with thousands of marathoners wearing their medals, as they rewarded family members for supporting them through the long training journey. The medal served as entry fee to the park. I enjoyed my favorite ride, Rockin' Roller Coaster several times.

So now it's on to Carmel for a restorative weekend retreat. This one filled up very quickly and promises to be a great place to run thought a quaint village in one of the most beautiful areas I've experienced.

I hope to see you this year at a Disney event, weekend retreat, free clinic, training program, running school, or on a trail or road run somewhere.

Enjoy every mile.

Jeff
